If you are ever in California, make sure to stop by Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum. I've never seen more lifelike statues anywhere.

Don't be afraid to thoroughly read the menu at a fancy restaurant. Some of the finer eateries do not offer mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, but you can usually find something good in a pinch.

Outlet Shops

If you are in the mood for some bargain-hunting, try looking for some local "outlets". These stores may look like regular stores, but they often offer wares at lower-than-usual prices.
